A journey to end.

On a frozen land I walked,
some miles to go and I walked.,

nothing to believe, nothing to hope,
down the endless slope I walked,

sightless, breathless, aimless,
with my cumbrous legs I walked,

thunders pounding on my frosty corpse,
twas the white desert barefoot I walked,

drudging for hunger, craving with thirst,
my voice shattered but I walked,

slowly my eyes accustomed to dark,
and I gloom towards the doom I walked.

Aftermath

The situation got worse
after that devastating curse,

babies yowling in their mother's lap
that mother, who just took her last breathe,

widows moaning on their men's death
invoking their own future ahead,

the Church, the Gurudwara, the temple, the Mosque
all lambasted
only the people's brawl for morsels left to be protested,

those avaricious got the chance
to make the people destitute again,

last, no one was there to hear their weep
because all were crunched by that bitter grief.

Love

When the love
unearths from the lifeless soul,
the heart
starts playing a lovers role,

melancholy evades
from the timeless past,
and the colours of rainbow
never last,

when the dusky night
envelops the sky,
smiles ablaze
and you hear no cry,

when the mesmerising sun
showers it's light,
the morning breeze
kisses your lustrous eyes...
